Voice Recorder Pro

A recorder for notes, meetings and more

Voice Recorder Pro is an audio recording app for Android phones and tablets. It suits anyone who needs to capture voice notes, interviews, lectures, meetings, speeches, rehearsals or other sounds without relying on a separate recorder. Recordings are limited by available device storage rather than a fixed recording timer.

Choose how your recordings sound

The app supports MP3, WAV, AAC and AMR formats, giving you options for quality and storage use. You can adjust the sample rate from phone-quality recording up to CD-quality levels, select a bitrate from 32 to 320 kbps, and record in mono or stereo. A live audio spectrum display provides a visual check while recording.

Manage recordings from one place

Voice Recorder Pro can continue recording in the background, including with the screen off. Its built-in player lets you review files with volume control, while sorting by name, date, size or duration helps when a collection grows. You can rename, delete, share or open recordings in other apps, and save selected sounds as ringtones, alarms or notification tones. A widget and status-bar controls provide quick access to recording and playback.
